2023 Plans
Looking Back to 2022…
Can anyone else believe 2022 is almost at its end?! Where did all of that time go? I hope the year has treated you all well. We’ve had our ups and downs, but 2022 has been a year of decisions and a few changes for us. I guess I should say we did some major pruning. To start the year off, we decided to slow way down on production this year and get organized and more settled in our daily lives. We’ve not finished (are you ever truly “finished”?), but we have come along way!
We’ve pruned many suckers this year and because of this I am starting to see new growth in our lives!! We have so many new ideas and dreams of where to go with this business, and I’m looking forward to seeing where it will lead! God has taken such good care of us, I’m excited to see where He will lead us in the years to come.
Looking Forward to 2023 Plans
If you have been following along with us, you know that in 2017 we had a very large garden, sold produce boxes, flowers, pumpkins, and mums. Then, in 2018, we moved to Idaho for a year and a half. We moved back in the fall of 2019, and have continued growing our dahlias and a few other crops, but primarily on a small scale for our personal sustenance and enjoyment, and also to continue learning.
Now here we are, looking forward to 2023, and asking ourselves once again: “What do we feel God has in store for us in the coming year?” This year, Zach and I both feel as though we want to scale back up to have more to offer to our community. Primarily, this means flowers. Flowers are a way to bring a smile to anyone’s face. Gift yourself flowers to bring some cheer into your own home; give a bouquet to a loved one, or someone who may be going through a rough time; or send an anonymous gift of flowers to a nursing home resident. Flowers are such an easy way to spread a little sunshine, and we could not be happier to be able to provide a local source of “cheer”!
We are still in the process of nailing down the details, but I hope you will follow along on our website as well as social media to see what we have planned for the upcoming year. May God bless your holiday season and fill your homes with cheer!!
